Why blog you ask?
My thought is that it would be nice to have a place to communicate with those people who are interested. I currently send a weekly email newsletter but I've always felt pressure to keep the email short. Sometimes it grew a bit too much but I had things I wanted to say.
Also, you can respond to what I post here. Hopefully everyone will benefit.
I also intend to post education articles on photography, photos that I particularly like, and whatever else is important at the time.
I will start by telling you what I did this summer. First of all, I worried! Why? My business has grown but it was so tied to Iolani School that I wondered what I would do to keep the momentum going. Yes, I knew that I would cover summer track, but would that be enough?
It turned out that summer track worked out real well, plus I did a musical (Oliver!), 2 water polo tournaments, and the Ann Kang Volleyball Tournament. It was a great summer! And, now the school sports season is starting up and I'm READY! Tomorrow I intend to cover the first cross-country meet of the season at Waipio, then if I can get there in time, I will cover the Iolani Varsity football game against Moanalua.So feel free to check back often. I will try to make your visit worthwhile.
